Most community management platforms charge $50–150/month and lock you into annual contracts. Evontar gives you everything a modern church, small group, or volunteer board needs at a fraction of the cost — with no gotchas.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions from church leaders, group organizers, and community boards.
How do members join the community?
You share a unique invite link — post it in your Sunday bulletin, text it in a group chat, or print it on a flyer. Members click the link, create a free account, and they're in. No email invitations required, no IT setup.
Do members need to download an app?
No. Evontar runs in any web browser on phone or desktop. Members can bookmark the community page and access everything without installing anything. A mobile app is coming soon for groups that want push notifications.
How long does setup take?
Most communities are fully set up in 15 minutes or less. You create your community, add your leaders, and share the invite link. There's a guided onboarding checklist that walks you through each step.
Can I import our existing member list?
Yes. You can import members from a CSV file — just upload names and emails and Evontar creates accounts automatically. Members receive a welcome email with instructions to set their password.
What happens after the free pilot?
The pilot has no end date. When you're ready to unlock unlimited members and advanced features, the Growth plan is $29/month — no contracts. If you decide Evontar isn't the right fit, your data is yours and you can export it any time.
Is our community's data secure?
Yes. Evontar uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit, and your community data is never shared with or sold to third parties. Member directories are only visible to verified community members.
We already use another tool — is switching hard?
Evontar is designed to be a complete replacement for the typical community toolkit: group texts, email chains, spreadsheets, and Google Drive folders. Most communities run Evontar alongside their old tools for a month, then switch over completely once members are onboarded.
What if we have more than 50 members on the free plan?
The free pilot doesn't cap member count — it's designed to let you run your whole community and decide if Evontar is right for you. Caps only apply to the long-term free tier once the pilot phase ends.
